Our Journey
How living life in the “Front Row” came to be.
Our story begins with the Front Row Foundation — granting life-changing experiences to individuals and families facing critical health challenges, creating unforgettable front-row moments at live events.
Jon inspired others to move from the back row to the front row of life. A moment of self-reflection about his role as a father and husband sparked the birth of Front Row Dads.
The first event was held in Philadelphia, PA. It was a gathering of 30 men who were interested in learning more about the Front Row Foundation and the Front Row Dads Brotherhood.
In 2019 we launched the 5th FRD retreat and reached 100 members, forming the foundation of our community and unique brotherhood.
The COVID-19 pandemic forced us to adapt and evolve. We introduced the "online summit" experience which enabled online learning, growth and connection.
In January of 2022, eight men from the FRD community met in Colorado for the first "FRD Adventure." It created a path for smaller experiences in nature, led by verteran members and leaders. Since then, we continue to deploy multiple adventures in Colorado and other epic locations every year.
Our annual end-of-year conference, FRD Live, was born. It provided an opportunity for the entire community to come together in profound ways. We hold this event every year in Austin, TX.
Front Row Dads has evolved into a Growth Centered Brotherhood — vibrant health, emotional intelligence, thriving relationships, intentional parenting, business evolution, and legacy building.
Why Jon Vroman created Front Row Dads
A few years ago, someone asked, “What do you do Jon?” I replied, “I’m a speaker, author, and founder of Front Row Foundation.”
Then I paused…
Wait… let me try that again… “I’m a father and husband, and when I’m not doing that, I…” Parenting wasn’t something I did when I was off work. It was my primary work.
I used to have folders on my desktop for every area of my life and business, but nothing for my family.
I wasn’t approaching what I felt was a critical mission with the same intensity that I approached everything else — my business, charity, fitness, finances, etc. Over the past 20 years, I’ve invested big to grow personally and professionally.
But, what about my family?
Front Row Dads was the answer to that question. I didn’t start this brotherhood because I had all the answers, it was because I was in search of them.

I envision creating the most well put together, most thoughtful, most soulful, most impactful men’s group for fathers on the planet.
My hope is that men who co-create this will want their kids to be part of this experience.
My desire is that we’re always growing together, making adjustments to our programs, based on how we change and the world changes.
