Having Fun with Co-parenting & Double Dates and the Evolution of Front Row Dads with Hal Elrod
Hal Elrod is the author of The Miracle Morning, one of the most life-changing books ever written and has sold over 2 million copies. Hal has been a huge part of my life and a legend in the FRD community since the very beginning, and he has inspired so many people to be the best versions of themselves.
So today, we’re taking a trip down memory lane to the beginning of Front Row Dads in 2016. Hal and I share how that gathering paved the way for a thriving global brotherhood of over 300+ incredible humans on a mission to better themselves in every possible way.
We dig into our experiences with our FRD bands and our favorite parts of how the Brotherhood at FRD has evolved. Hal talks about connecting with his kids and enjoying co-parenting, getting together with a buddy and the kids to show another side of himself, and being more than a Dad.
Last but certainly not least, we also share our thoughts on the future potential of the FRD community and some exciting stuff we have lined up. Enjoy!

Hal Elrod Bio
Hal Elrod is on a mission to Elevate the Consciousness of Humanity, One Morning at a Time. He’s the author of one of the highest-rated books in the world, “The Miracle Morning,” which has been translated into 37 languages, sold over 2 million copies and has over 5,000 five-star reviews.
What’s incredible is that Hal literally died at age 20. His car was hit head-on by a drunk driver at 70 miles per hour. His heart stopped beating for 6 minutes, he broke 11 bones and woke up after being in a coma for six days to be told by his doctors that he would probably never walk again. Not only did Hal walk, he ran a 52-mile ultra-marathon and became a hall-of-fame business achiever, international keynote speaker, author, and grateful husband & father before he turned 30.
Then, in November of 2016, Hal nearly died again – his kidneys, lungs, and heart were failing, and he was diagnosed with a rare and very aggressive form of leukemia.
After enduring the most difficult year of his life, battling cancer, Hal is now cancer-free and furthering his mission as the founder of The Miracle Morning book series, host of the “Achieve Your Goals” podcast, creator of the Best Year Ever LIVE event, and Executive Producer of The Miracle Morning MOVIE – a documentary that reveals the morning rituals of some of the world’s most successful people.
Hal is grateful to be alive and living his mission alongside his wife and their two young children in Austin, TX.

FRD is solving a huge problem for dads. Our culture has turned “Dad” into a joke. Go ahead, google Dad and you’ll find Dad Bod, Dad Jokes, Dad Weed, etc. Culturally, it’s a Homer Simpson mentality, and it’s BS.
Our community is built for solid men. Men with range. Those who are badass, and know there’s still more to learn, together.
Most guys find it hard to find “their crew.” Finding other committed men, who are successful in life, and want to put family first – these guys are rare. Is this you?
In FRD, hundreds of men from all over the world show up for each other, to share resources and raise the bar of fatherhood (our core values.)
If you’re reading this, you want to grow. Podcasts are great, but guys… when you’re ready to stop just listening to content, and want to JOIN the conversations – the FRD brotherhood is ready for you.
