Subscribe and Listen Now

As we countdown to International Mother’s Day, we’re shaking things up a bit because I’m joined by Angie MacDougall and Megan Corey. These two moms are incredible souls and successful businesswomen with families who co-lead the Front Row Moms community.

In our conversation, Angie and Megan share the joy and balancing act of modern motherhood. They dropped some great advice on how Dads can score some bonus points on Mother’s Day. And here’s a hint, fellas: If you ask her what she wants, she’ll probably tell you. 😁

You’ll also hear how Angie and Megan have created a community where like-minded women can share knowledge and experiences, lift each other up, and show up for their kids, husbands, and families. In short, Front Row Moms empowers women to thrive at work and home in the same ways that the FRD Brotherhood does for men. Enjoy!

Angie MacDougall & Megan Corey Bio

Angie MacDougall

I’m a mom to 2 children and wife of 22 years to my husband. I love being active in all 4 seasons which is why we live in the Okanagan Valley, British Columbia. I love learning and even more sharing the aha’s from that learning with others.

As a means of paying for school and expanding my skill set, during my commerce degree at the University of Calgary, I started working with a direct sales organization, Vector Marketing/Cutco Cutlery. What was meant to just be a part time entrepreneurial student gig, has turned into a fulfilling career. Over 27 yrs as District, Division and now National Sales Manager I have recruited, trained and lead 1000’s of sales reps and managers. Taught them how to open and build a business, become leaders in and outside of our industry. As the first women to have children AND lead a top organization, as well as hold an executive position in the 75yr history of our company, I know the dynamics of balancing family & career.

As a business owner, creating my own maternity leave without examples in our organization, nor guaranteed income, it challenged me on many levels. The more successful I became, the more isolated I felt. I didn’t want to look back and say, I was successful in business at the expense of my marriage, relationships with kids and/or my health. I needed to find a community of women that understood the challenge, would encourage and support each other navigate the competing parts of life. So they say, when you can’t find it, create it.

FRD is solving a huge problem for dads. Our culture has turned “Dad” into a joke. Go ahead, google Dad and you’ll find Dad Bod, Dad Jokes, Dad Weed, etc. Culturally, it’s a Homer Simpson mentality, and it’s BS.

Our community is built for solid men. Men with range. Those who are badass, and know there’s still more to learn, together.

Most guys find it hard to find “their crew.” Finding other committed men, who are successful in life, and want to put family first – these guys are rare. Is this you?

In FRD, hundreds of men from all over the world show up for each other, to share resources and raise the bar of fatherhood (our core values.)

If you’re reading this, you want to grow.  Podcasts are great, but guys… when you’re ready to stop just listening to content, and want to JOIN the conversations – the FRD brotherhood is ready for you.
