How to Master Conscious Communication for a Thriving Family and Business with Jem Fuller
Fellas, today I’m excited to welcome Jem Fuller, a dedicated father and partner, a seasoned coach, author, and expert in communication. His book, The Art of Conscious Communication for Thoughtful Men, delves into mastering the art of effective personal and professional communication.
In this episode, we dive deep into the concept of conscious communication and why it’s critical for personal growth and healthier relationships. Jem shares his insights on how to become more self-aware in conversations, the power of pausing, and why communication is more about sharing than telling.
We also explore the struggles many men face, such as managing tempers and navigating communication with children and partners. Jem offers practical tools for staying present, handling triggers, and building deeper, more meaningful connections.

Jem Fuller Bio
Jem’s unique and powerful approach to human dynamics and leadership, through more conscious communication, creates thriving team environments where people can truly flourish.
He’s certainly not a run-of-the-mill leadership coach or keynote speaker. Jem’s colorful life of global adventures in foreign lands, working as a tribal tattooist, motorcycle courier, kindergarten teacher, healer, travel consultant and corporate leader has created a rich tapestry of experience for him to draw on.
After studying coaching, NLP, human behavioral profiling and more, Jem launched his leadership coaching consultancy and international retreat company in 2013. Since then he has worked with exec and senior leaders across government, private and not-for-profit sectors, created critically acclaimed online courses in people development, and led retreats through the remote Himalaya of northern India, the jungles of Indonesia, and the deserts of Australia.
Jem’s approach is authentic, alternative, accessible and caring, conscious and kind. He believes in people’s ability to develop and grow into their potential, experiencing their best life and positively impacting the lives of others.

FRD is solving a huge problem for dads. Our culture has turned “Dad” into a joke. Go ahead, google Dad and you’ll find Dad Bod, Dad Jokes, Dad Weed, etc. Culturally, it’s a Homer Simpson mentality, and it’s BS.
Our community is built for solid men. Men with range. Those who are badass, and know there’s still more to learn, together.
Most guys find it hard to find “their crew.” Finding other committed men, who are successful in life, and want to put family first – these guys are rare. Is this you?
In FRD, hundreds of men from all over the world show up for each other, to share resources and raise the bar of fatherhood (our core values.)
If you’re reading this, you want to grow. Podcasts are great, but guys… when you’re ready to stop just listening to content, and want to JOIN the conversations – the FRD brotherhood is ready for you.
One more thing…
